If you find a book that is available at a campus other than the one you attend, you may have the book delivered to another campus.
- Click Request below the book title in the list of books or in the Book's Detailed Record.
- On the login page:
Students: Choose Student, then go to step 3.
Faculty and staff: Choose Faculty/Staff, then go to step 3.
Tri-C community patrons: Under Community Patron, type your name and patron barcode, then go to step 5.
- Type your S-number in the Tri-C ID box.
- Type your Tri-C password in the Password box.
- Select Submit.
- On the Request Verification page, choose the campus where you want to pick up the item.
- Select Submit.
- If the Item Selection Form displays, you may choose the particular item you want. Make sure the item's Status is AVAILABLE.
- Select the REQUEST SELECTED ITEM button.
No Request link? There are two reasons this might be so:
Request a book from OhioLINK
- From the Tri-C catalog detailed record, if the book is not available, click the OhioLINK icon on the right side of the page.
- The OhioLINK catalog displays the OhioLINK record for the book, including a list of libraries that have the book. If the Library Holdings box is empty, click the Show link on the right side of that box.
- If one copy is AVAILABLE (Status column), click the Request button under Library Holdings.
- Select the list under Please select your school or institution and choose Cuyahoga CC from the list.
- Click Submit above information.
- Type your name and S-number in the fields on the Request Verification page.
- Select the list under Pickup Location and choose the campus where you wish to pick up the item.
- Select Submit.
Request a book from SearchOhio
- From the Tri-C catalog detailed record, if the book is not available, click the SearchOhio icon on the right side of the page.
- If there is one record for the book in SearchOhio, the SearchOhio catalog displays the record for the book, including a list of libraries that have the book. If there is more than one record in SearchOhio, click one in the list to see which libraries have the book. If there is at least one library with an available copy (status column), click the Request Item button under Library Holdings toward the top of the page.
- If one copy is AVAILABLE (Status column), click the Request button under Library Holdings.
- Select the list under With which library are you affiliated? and choose Cuyahoga CC from the list.
- Click Submit above information.
- Type your last name and S-number in the fields on the Request Verification page.
- Select the list under Pickup Location and choose the campus where you wish to pick up the item.
- Select Submit.
