Policies

COVID Policies

Please refer to Cuyahoga Community College's Coronavirus (COVID-19) page.

Food and Drink

Food and drinks are allowed within the libraries, but should be in containers with a cap or lid to help prevent accidental spills. This policy has been set in place to preserve a clean, pest-free library and to prevent damage to materials, computers, and other equipment.

Tobacco

Please refer to Cuyahoga Community College's Tri-C 100% Tobacco-Free Policy page.

Cell Phones

All cell phones should be set to vibrate when in the library. Please keep your calls brief and quiet. We reserve the right to ask anyone whose phone use is disrupting others to leave the library.

Children

Please refer to the section on unattended children in the Student Handbook

Study Spaces

Rules regarding the use of study rooms or designated study spaces may vary from campus to campus. This is due to factors such as open floor plans or room occupancy. Just ask a Learning Commons employee for more information – we’d love to chat!

Scanning

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17 U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. The person using this equipment is liable for any infringement.

Donations

We gladly accept donations in good condition, but we may choose not to add donated items to our collection after evaluating them. Donated items not added to our collection will be discarded or recycled.
