The Gratitude Project : About the Gratitude Project

Welcome

About the Gratitude Project

The Gratitude Project, developed by the Westshore Faculty Senate Library Committee was an idea born to appreciate what we do have rather than complain of what we don't - especially during COVID-19. At this time people may feel frustrated about life not being "normal"  adding to anxiety and fractured motivation. The purpose of this project and Library guide is to serve as a tool for faculty and students to practice gratitude in and outside of their classrooms, to improve mental health, and to apply the skills learned for positive thinking and living through classroom projects and assignments that will benefit every individual. This project is a renewable one throughout the year and (through its multiple facets) will specifically help students to reduce anxiety and frustration and improve motivation.........A humble attempt to better our students as "humans."
